DinDin is an urban artist based in Belgium. With roots in the 1980's graffiti scene, she produces diverse artwork using stencils, hand painted wheat pastes and freehand spray paints. Stencils are a popular technique used in graffiti and street art worldwide. This method provides the possibility to reproduce and is comparable to screen printing.
Over time DinDin's multi-layered stencils, all hand drawn and hand cut, evolved to a remarkable and recognizable style. They often reflect social and societal topics, possibly interspersed with idealism and dualism. They can elicit a story from the beholder, different for each person but always equal.
